Review: Going from monolids to double eyelids
I finally got the double eyelid surgery I had always wanted.
As you can see in the before photo, I had monolids that made my eyes look heavy and dull.
I was always self-conscious about it, and it stressed me out even more when taking photos — it was really bothering me,
so this time I got natural adhesion and eye opening correction surgery at Hyundai Aesthetic Surgery.
I didn't want to get it done just anywhere, so I searched diligently for reviews on café sites and apps, and among the places I had consultations at,
I decided that Hyundai Aesthetic Surgery, which I liked the most, would be the best choice, and went ahead with the surgery.
The doctor gave a very thorough consultation and explained things at my level, so I felt no resistance,
it was easy to understand and comfortable, so I was able to ask more questions about this and that.
Honestly, if the doctor had seemed lacking in medical knowledge or was unkind, I wouldn't have done it — but it was the complete opposite, so I decided on this place.
First, Dr. Ahn Gyeong-chan looked at my eyes and told me I definitely wouldn't need epicanthoplasty, and that there was no need for incision —
he firmly said natural adhesion would be more than sufficient, so I went for it without hesitation.
Right now there's barely any swelling and not much bruising. Even right after surgery there was almost no swelling, so I've been confidently going out in a mask.
And since there is still a little swelling and bruising, I've been taking 30-minute walks and doing warm compresses every day.
At first when I told my mom I wanted to get double eyelid surgery, she told me not to, but now she says I did a great job and it looks pretty ㅋㅋ
