Before -> After
Even before surgery, I did not have monolids; I had thin hidden double eyelids, but
first, my concerns were
a sleepy-looking impression, plain eyes, and dark circles, these three things!
When I mentioned these during the consultation,
the director picked up on them right away and said that because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is wide,
an incisional method would give a definite effect,
and that the sleepy-looking image needed ptosis correction.
So for incisional eye-shape correction, the double-eyelid line would be
set a little higher than my existing line while making my eyes look clearer,
and that was the direction we discussed for surgery! haha
Something I found out during the consultation was that I also had quite a bit of Mongolian fold,
and they said it could be corrected with an epicanthoplasty.
I had not originally gone in thinking about canthoplasty, but after hearing the director explain,
I decided on epicanthoplasty,
and because of my original concern about dark circles, under-eye fat repositioning too,
and had them all done together at once!
My face itself is round and gentle-looking, so I did not want anything too flashy,
but they made a suitable in-out line that fit my image perfectly,
so I am really satisfied. Even though the double eyelids are not thick,
my eyes look clearer, and I think the Mongolian folds improved so well... hehe
The bluish dark circles are all gone too,
so I do not need to cover them with concealer anymore haha (this is what I like most!!)
