HA FILLER
Filler
Filler is a non-surgical injectable that uses hyaluronic acid (HA) and similar materials to restore lost volume and soften wrinkles. At Hyundai Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in Gangnam, a board-certified plastic surgeon assesses your whole-face proportions and designs natural dimension with volume that never looks overdone.

What exactly is filler?
Filler adds volume beneath the skin to fill hollow areas or refine contour lines. Hyaluronic acid filler, the most widely used type, is a substance the skin already contains, so it is highly biocompatible — and it can be corrected with hyaluronidase (a dissolving injection) if needed.
You can see the result immediately after treatment, and it lasts roughly 6–18 months depending on the product's viscoelasticity and the area treated. It is chosen mainly by people who want to improve volume and contour without surgery, or who want a preview of the change before committing to an operation.
Hyundai Aesthetics approaches filler with the perspective of a plastic surgery clinic that also performs lip and contouring surgery. We prioritise the right product for each area and an injection plan designed around vascular anatomy — and where filler is not enough, we explain the surgical alternatives as well.
Filler by Treatment Area
The firmness of the product and the injection depth differ by area. Take a look at what makes each area distinct.
Forehead Filler
Adds volume to a hollow or flat forehead for a smooth, rounded forehead line.
The forehead is a wide area that has to be filled evenly to avoid an uneven contour. We distribute the volume while reading the curvature of the whole forehead together with the brow-bone and hairline borders; compared with fat grafting, the shorter downtime is a clear advantage.
Lip Filler
Adds volume to thin lips and defines the cupid's bow and lip border.
The lips move constantly, so they call for precision — a soft product placed in small amounts, layer by layer. Because Hyundai Aesthetics also runs a dedicated lip surgery line (lip reduction, mouth corners, philtrum reduction), we assess your lip proportions first and then advise whether filler alone or filler with surgery is the better route.
Nasolabial Fold Filler
Fills the valley running from beside the nose to the mouth, easing a tired, aged impression.
Nasolabial folds look most natural when we address the underlying mid-face hollowing (anterior cheekbone and cheek) rather than simply filling the groove. Blood vessels run through this area, so we follow safety protocols such as using a cannula.
Chin Filler
Adds volume to a short or receding chin for a slimmer V-line and a defined jaw line.
The chin is shaped with a firm product. We design the length and projection against the balance of the nose-tip–lip–chin line in profile, and where the skeletal difference is significant we also explain surgical options such as genioplasty.
Cheek & Anterior Cheekbone Filler
Restores volume to hollow cheeks and flat anterior cheekbones for a youthful, lively apple zone.
Mid-face volume shapes the impression of the entire face. Over-filling can make the face look larger, so as a rule we fill gradually in small amounts, checking how your expression changes when you smile.
Under-Eye Filler (Dark Circles)
Softens the shadow caused by under-eye hollowing. If protruding fat is the cause, we recommend repositioning surgery.
If the shadow under your eyes comes from hollowing, filler can improve it; if it comes from protruding fat, filler alone has limits. Hyundai Aesthetics also runs a under-eye fat repositioning surgery line, so we recommend filler or surgery according to what the diagnosis shows.
Filler Pricing
The cost of filler depends on ① the area and the volume required (cc), ② the product used (domestic or imported, and its viscoelasticity grade) and ③ the scope of treatment (a single area or full face). What determines the result is a volume designed to your facial proportions — not the lowest possible price per cc.
Skin boosters such as Rejuran, Juvelook and Lituo are sometimes offered as combination packages depending on the season. You can check the current packages and per-area pricing on the events page or at a 1:1 consultation.
All non-covered treatment fees exclude VAT and may vary with your diagnosis.
The Procedure
- 01
Diagnosis & Design
We diagnose the cause of the hollowing or wrinkles along with your facial proportions, then choose the product and volume for each area.
- 02
Topical Anesthesia
Topical anesthetic cream for about 15–30 minutes minimises injection discomfort.
- 03
Treatment
We select a needle or cannula according to the area and inject the measured volume layer by layer.
- 04
Finishing & Aftercare Guidance
We check the volume immediately, then explain the aftercare for each area and the maintenance interval.
Before & After Care
On the day of treatment, do not press hard on or massage the injected area.
Please avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise on the day of treatment.
Bruising, swelling or temporary unevenness may occur and usually settles within a few days.
Hyaluronic acid filler can be corrected with a dissolving injection if needed. If you are worried about the shape, please come in rather than pressing on it yourself.
Vascular complications (skin necrosis, visual disturbance) are rare but have been reported — if you have severe pain or blanching right after treatment, contact us immediately.
Treatment is restricted during pregnancy or breastfeeding and where there is inflammation at the treatment site. Please tell us at your consultation.
