Epicanthoplasty design issue
TYPE 01
Epicanthoplasty should be performed with consideration for eye characteristics such as the distance between the eyes, lacrimal caruncle exposure, Mongolian fold removal, and asymmetry. If epicanthoplasty does not suit the eye shape, correction is possible through reconstruction (or micro-restoration).
Excessive lacrimal caruncle (red tissue) exposure
TYPE 02
When excessive lacrimal caruncle exposure makes the eyes look sharp, and further causes functional issues such as tear duct exposure or dry eye syndrome, reconstruction complements the overly resected inner corner and closes the exposed lacrimal caruncle to improve the eye shape.

Hooked shape (severe contour deformity)
TYPE 04
For a hooked eye shape, lacrimal caruncle exposure, inner-corner deformity, and scleral show must be improved at the same time. Through measurements based on the position and size of the inner eye corner and pupil, the inner corner is refined into a straighter shape, and upper epicanthoplasty is performed if needed.

Reverse Skin Rearrangement
When the medial canthus tissue has been overcorrected or the distance between the eyes appears narrow, reverse skin rearrangement is performed when reconstruction over a wide area is needed. The Mongolian fold lost after epicanthoplasty can also be restored
Double-Flap Adjustment
Double-flap surgery is performed to improve lacrimal caruncle exposure, interrupted under-eye roll, scar removal, and hooked shape reconstruction. It helps improve functional issues, and recovery is relatively fast because the dissection range is small
V-Y Flap Technique
A method that incises the widened inner eye corner in a V shape and sutures it into a Y shape, like closing a zipper. Restores the area with minimal damage to surrounding tissue, applicable to various defect areas and conditions
Z-Plasty
A method that incises scar tissue in a Z shape to redistribute the scar and reduce skin tension. It is advantageous for minimizing scarring and restoring a natural eye shape
